We enjoyed every moment. The staff catered to our every need! Breakfasts on the terrace were heavenly (with good omelettes!) and the decor around the hotel was like pure Moroccan art! The location provided easy access to nearby cultural attractions, perfect for exploration.
One minor concern was the stairs to access our room, which could be a bit daunting with mobility challenges.

the location was ideal and peaceful because it was short walk to alongside the fountain, the ancient fes medina and restaurant and garden. there was a rooftop restaurant nearby.

The owners Alex and Yasmine are very nice hosts.
The recommended restaurants were abysmal. I was promised great dining, but it turned out to be a disaster, leaving me unsatisfied after every meal. I can't believe there was zero accountability for the awful food. It completely ruined my experience.

Everything was outstanding, so were charming views of Fes old town. Its location in Fes was quiet and top, right by the bustling Medina as well as the market. I ate in the rooftop restaurant nearby. Spent here 2 wonderful days and would definitely stop here again.

Reasons to love it, and reasons not to
The service was amazing, with attentive staff ready to assist at any moment. Breakfast on the rooftop was good, with nice views of the Medina.
Accessing upper rooms proved challenging due to numerous stairs, potentially impacting guests with mobility issues.

Riad Le Califfe is real a amazing oasis of peace. Strategic positioned to visit the Medina and to reach it easily from outside. Every little thing and particular in the riad is really thought and well cured. The view from the terrace is beatiful. We've got a dinner inside the Riad and the food and athmosfere was simple perfect! Alexandre and Yasmine, the Riad owner's, are really attentive guys that love their job and love to have happy customers. Absolutely suggested for a romantic and unforgettable vacation in Fes.

The fine rooftop terrace offered great views and the unique homecooked dinners were a highlight of our stay. A personal touch was the delicious tagine, my favorite dish in Morocco!

Very hospitable, welcoming and accommodating staff. Upon arrival were given tea, shown the riad and given a Fes map with which they explained the various walks and places of interest. Our double bedroom was quiet, beautiful, and clean with fridge, tv, clock/music and separate bathroom. Lovely decoration and the best mattress and pillow in our travels in Morocco. A plate of fruits was a nice treat. The one dinner we had at the riad was good. Breakfast consisted of an ample sampling of Moroccon pancakes, toasts, eggs, yogurt, dates, fresh orange juice, and tea/coffee. The riad had upper terraces with great views of the city, lower tiled courtyard, interior dining room and a relaxing reading room with an internet.
Would highly recommend this riad. Just need to call them ahead of time to arrange for pickup to their location which maybe a challenge to find the first time. They will have someone with a cart to transport your luggages and take you to the riad.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful
The Ruby-colored suite was a refreshing retreat, the intricate decor reminded me of stepping into an art gallery, and every bite of Fatima's tagine was an explosion of flavor. Yasmine and Alex, from the travel tips to the cozy meals, we felt right at home.

Owners Alex and Yasmine are very warm and friendly and take great pride (rightfully so) in their establishment. There is a lot of attention to detail as far as amenities, services, decor etc. Very knowledgeable about Fes which is invaluable. Location is great (right in Medina but only short walk from where you can park, no cars allowed in Fes Medina). Would be hard to find if you didn't have them send someone to meet you. Food was amazing (and we only had a light dinner and breakfast). Room was great with big comfy bed and all the trimmings. Had Hammam services available , laundry and guide services as well (with posted prices, important in Morocco). I only wish we had longer to stay there as we were only there one night. Even with
